The Annual Highway Earth Classic Car Show took place at the famed Franklin Park in Beverly Hills. The Highway Earth Car show is the brainchild of automotive photographer Evan Klein. Kline is a self-confessed car lover who always had this “dream of bringing the community together in a magazine”. With that in mind he started a publication named Highway Earth.
Roll on three years later and now we have the annual Highway Earth Car Show, hidden deep in Southern California’s Santa Monica Mountains. Scenery of towering pine trees, ponds and the sounds of wildlife was the setting for a “pop-up” museum. The museum consisted of well over 100 classic cars, sports cars, muscle cars, contemporary exotics, a bike or two and as well as what might be described as unique custom rides. Kline literally transformed the trails around the lake to a one-mile nature walk dotted with spectacular classic car groups along the leisurely stroll.
“The Highway Earth Car Show was at one with nature” and made for a wonderful alternative to a carpark or concours.
