After eight years, 410 Saturdays, and hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the nation, the original Cars and Coffee located in Irvine, California shut down on December 20, 2014. The cancellation of the event was due to a growing development in the area, and thus forcing the event to go on hiatus until they can find a new location.
We were fortunate enough to attend the last event, and, as always we got a good eyeful. On display we had everything from American muscle to European super cars, with enthusiasts of all kinds giving the event a proper sendoff. As it got later in the morning we knew it had to end, it was a bittersweet moment to see all the cars head out for the last time.
Hopefully the event finds a new location soon. For more information you can also visit the official Cars and Coffee Website.
