This year Beverly Hills celebrated 100 years of being Beverly Hills with a selection of serious cars on Rodeo Drive. This year, cars from “An American in Paris,” “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “Entourage,” made appearances alongside the cars of Fred Astaire, Jean Harlow and Howard Hughes. For the 21st year, the theme was “100 Years of Horse Power.”
“This will be the most highly curated show in the Rodeo Drive Concours’ 21-year history with spectacular examples of cars that have graced the winding tree-lined streets of Beverly Hills over the past century” said Concours Chairman Bruce Meyer.
Beverly Hills was once home to the wooden 1.25-mile Beverly Hills Speedway in which daredevil riders like AMA Hall of Famer “Shrimp” Burns would tear around the track at speeds of around 100mph.
