Jaguar have revealed their latest creation the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake. The new Sportbrake features Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 the same one you find in the F-Type R Coupe. The net result is the same 542bhp and 502lb ft of torque, more than enough to haul the dog around in the back.
The XFR-S SB, goes from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds and will hit an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph. The V8 is paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, again the same one used in the F-Type. While those focused more on the exhaust note will be happy with a nice crackle from “near straight-through’ exhaust pipes.
Pair that combo with a new front bumper, front splitter, extended side sills, deeper arches, central diffuser, an extended rear bumper and new 20in alloy wheels, it does turn heads.
“Combining real-world versatility with electrifying performance, the XFR-S Sportbrake brings Jaguar’s sporting character to life in a truly engaging car that will satisfy the most demanding of drivers while fitting into the most active of lifestyles.” Dean Murden, Vehicle Programme Director, Jaguar said.
Unfortunately this Jaguar will not be making it to the US. However, you can order it in April and the starting price is quoted at £82,495. Expect a review after its unveiling at the Geneva International Motor Show.
