Jerry Seinfeld returned to New York for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey in the latest installment of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Seinfeld told Fey, “I don’t know if you get it, but this car is you. It’s sensible, but fun.”
The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem where over coffee the discussion turned to kids. Fey has two daughters, ages 8 and 2, and said that she finds “certain duties fall to certain parents. My husband is more on the barf patrol. I can do it, he’s better at it. I’m in charge of feces, all the household feces are my purview.”
After the cereal smoothie it was a trip back downtown to Dominique Ansel Bakery for the last Cronut in New York city. On the way for the last Cronut, Fey admits she doesn’t have a driver’s license. Driving cars, she says, “is like Twitter to me.” Which she doesn’t do – she lasted seven tweets back in 2009.
