HKS headed to the Gunsai Pass in Japan to make a short film, they placed pro driver Taniguchi Nobuteru behind the wheel of their Arvou Racing 2000. The GT Supercharger kit which is installed to the S2000 is set to around 340 bhp which can be increased to near 400 bhp if that isn’t enough. The increase is a considerable jump over the stock S2000 230 bhp.
Supercharging a car like the S2000 is no easy task. Honda’s VTEC system is in a class all its own in terms of driving, and with an engine that will rev to 9000 rpm, maintaining that feel and keeping the VTEC crowd happy is a serious accomplishment. The kit has been designed for a broad range of driving styles and driver experience levels, and it supposedly provides the feel and balance of a naturally aspirated engine.
In short all we can say is we would love a chance to get behind the wheel to try it out.
