Goodguys, the world’s largest hot rodding association returned to Music City, USA. The Goodguys Nashville Nationals now in its 8th year took over LP Field this past weekend and the event is one of the largest and most popular stops on the Goodguys calendar.
With over 2,000 pre-1972 hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks on display it was enough to keep the crowds busy over the three days. Additionally aside from the cars there were vendors, sponsors, car corrals, a swap meet, and the autocross!
A selection of the cars on display were also up for a series of awards which included the following:
2013 Custom Rod of the Year Finalist
2013 Truck of the Year Early Finalist
2013 Muscle Car of the Year Finalist
2013 Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist
Builder’s Choice Awards selected by Bobby Alloway

The Goodguys AutoCross was an opportunity for registered participants to put their Street Rod, Truck or Street Machine through the paces and to test their driving skills. All participants were timed and at the end of the weekend, winners took home an award and gift certificates from event sponsors.
The Autocross culminates in a season-long National AutoCross Shootout that will feature a series of Finals at the Goodguys 16th Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale in November with $10,000.00 in cash & prizes up for grabs!
