The goldRush Rally started its festivities in the city of Angels. From Los Angeles the rally head out to the “Valley of the Sun”, better known as Phoenix. Next, gR4 rolled into the fabulous city of Las Vegas for it’s fourth year in a row; “Sin City” is considered goldRush Rally’s home away from home. While teams were enjoying themselves in Vegas, the cars were transported to their first East Coast destination and their second part of the trip, Atlanta.
When the goldRush Rally teams from the west arrived at the W Hotel in Midtown they were greeted by more “participants” who were taking part in the second leg of the journey. With the rally leaving Atlanta early Thursday morning, hundreds of people lined the streets to see the cars depart! Before leaving Atlanta and heading down to Flordia participants took a brief detour and stopped by the new Atlanta Motorsports Park, where the cars spent some time on the track and competitors were given a tour of the parks facilities. After competitors had their run of the track drivers left “The New York of the South” and moved on to the Beach Resort City of Panama. Fnally, gr4 ended its adventure in Miami. Several different makes and marques took part in the event including several Bugatti Veyrons, Ferrari 458’s, Mclaren MP4-12C’s, the famed Underground Racing Lamborghini LP1500 Superleggera, a McLaren SLR and many, many other exotics you only see in magazines and music videos.
