Cars and Coffee an event originally starting in Southern California where a couple of friends made an excuse to take their cars out to meet friends, have a chat and catch a quick cup of coffee. A couple of years later the event has spread around the US and this weekend we saw a great turnout at the first Cars & Coffee at the Larz Anderson Museum.
The event was put together in tandem with Yuppie Racing, a car club based out of New England. The results of this was a brisk morning drive to the absolutely beautiful Larz Anderson museum in Brookline. Where upon arrival being you were greeted by the throaty exhaust sounds of a plethora of different cars both old and new from the four corners of the world including Japan, Europe, and the USA.
This is when “hoods” and “trunks” were popped and people did what “Car” people do, they talked mingled took photos and told stories. It was a great day out and I can’t wait for the next one.
Boston Cars and Coffee will run through through to October on these selected days.
