Thanks to Lawrence and Darrell last night saw the largest turnout of the year for the Stoneridge Car Meet held at the Stoneridge Mall in Dublin, Ca out in the warm East Bay.
Last nights attendance of around 1000 cars across 4 car parks proved that people really do love their cars here in the Bay. The “Stoneridge Meet” was exactly that a car meet for people from all different clubs and ages to come down and have some fun.
The night certainly had highlights, trying to find a park, the “Bellagio” water works and the hospitality and friendliness of local law enforcement. As a result it made it one of the best nights out in a long time.
The meet really enforced the diversity we saw muscle cars, classic imports, Euro Tuners, Exotics, Bikes and I could go on and on. All I can say is that I am looking forward to hearing about the next event and meeting some new folks.
Some of the guys from District 10 made an appearance.
My own highlight was this very nice RX7 with the conversion carried out. The car was immaculate and I would love to have the opportunity to do a photo shoot with it.
They had a series of very nice 510’s rolling around, this one in particular caught my eye.
The GTO club pulled a couple of cars together for the meet, I really am a fan of this English designed Australian muscle car.
I also liked this shot of cars from three different nations together, Japan, Germany and the great USA!
So there we have it another top notch local event, less than 10 days to Summer Jam at Infineon Raceway so I look forward to seeing you there.
