Day 2 of “Sears Pointless” bought the glimmer of less rain, more penalties and a great day of racing, which is exactly what we got to see. Competitors took to the track to complete the weekend festivities in the hoping of earning a much garnered Lemons Trophy, and finding out how much money was raised for the Speedway Children’s Charities Sonoma Chapter.
We had action aplenty on the track as the lead changed numerous times, (unlike the earlier Formula One race) which led to much enjoyment throughout the crowd and a grandstand finish.
